The site was created and is administered  as a place where teachers of Japanese in British Columbia, Canada and those interested in Japanese education in the province,  can share resources, lesson plans and discuss issues of concern.  The site belongs to NihongoBC: BC Teachers of Japanese,  the association of Japanese teachers in British Columbia.
