Non-Judgmental Teaching (NJT) Seminar

July 14th and 15th, 2007

Sentinel Secondary School West Vancouver

A teacher may say, “I teach from my heart.” In truth, teaching from the heart is a subtle practice of immense possibilities, inspiring for teachers and the students alike. In NJT we learn to teach with the awareness of the ever-present universal energy, which is the universal consciousness. This power is available to everyone. We only have to become aware of it and learn to access it.

NJT open this possibility to do just that through enter-the-heart contemplations. The purpose is to make alive the wisdom we receive from the heart in our daily life. Some may wonder, “It must be really energy-consuming to teach from the heart.” On the contrary, it is energizing, inspiring and liberating because the heart is universal consciousness.

The power of NJT sessions is that they help to solve perplexing problems in the classroom, build heart-filled relationships with students and reclaim our own power and authority in the process of teaching. The principles learned in the NJT sessions work equally well outside of classroom. Asking important questions and practicing the NJT principles help us live our everyday life with greater understanding, clarity†and focus.† This leads to greater feeling of contentment.† When we experience happiness and contentment within, our positive spirit touches everyone who comes in contact with us.† The ripples, then travel outwards and touch those we may not even know.† We contribute tangibly to world peace in this way.

Ordinarily the NJT sessions meet for one semester at an interval of two weeks. In the NJT Seminar, you will be immersed in the NJT principles for two days, laying the foundation for embarking on a personal journey of self-discovery.

In a safe and non-judgmental environment the participants have the breathing space to explore topics such as:

Fatigue of the Mind

Leaving the Rat Race

Power of Thoughts and Emotions

Power and Control

Serving Students

Genuine Listening

Inner-Outer Relationship

Challenging Personalities
